Inspired by ethnographic research on Ukraine, I Want You to Know is a series of twelve postcards, one for each month of the year. The title refers to the intimate language of postcard writing, brief personal messages that offer glimpses into place, memory, and lived experience.
Combining collage and digital drawing, the series reflects on childhood landscapes, seasonal rhythms, and cultural traditions. The postcards serve as quiet acts of communication, allowing us to share present lives with loved ones abroad while preserving a sense of closeness, familiarity, and belonging.
